Ōyama Senmaida

Oyama Senmaida is a collection of terraced rice fields located in Oyama, Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. Although called 'Senmaida' (1,000 fields), it actually consists of 375 fields spread over 3.2 hectares of sloping land. In 1999, it was selected as one of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' '100 Terraced Rice Fields of Japan,' and it is also a target area for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' project for the preservation and utilization of cultural landscapes. In 2022, it was recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as a 'Tsunagu Tanada Heritage: Passing Local Pride to the Future.' In 2002, it was designated as a cultural property and scenic spot by the Chiba Prefectural Government.

内成棚田（うちなりたなだ）は、大分県別府市大字内成にある棚田。「日本の棚田百選」に大分県から6地区選出されている中の１つである。残りは、由布市の由布川奥詰、豊後大野市の軸丸北、玖珠町の山浦早水、宇佐市の両合、中津市の羽高の6ヵ所になる。「つなぐ棚田遺産」にも選出された。

中山千枚田（なかやませんまいだ）は、小豆島の中央部分にある中山地区の「日本の棚田百選」にも選ばれた約800枚の大小の棚田である。この中山千枚田は南北朝時代から江戸時代中期にかけて、海抜150メートルから250メートルの傾斜地を開墾し、石を積み上げ造られた古いものである。

The Nishiyama Rice Terraces are located in Kurikoma Matsukura Nishiyama, Kurihara City, Miyagi Prefecture. In 1999, they were selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as one of the '100 Terraced Rice Fields of Japan.' The area consists of 30 terraced fields.
